Chris Norris
Chris Norris is a San Francisco native whose early exposure to the practice of law was providing part time computer support to a group of civil litigation attorneys in the late 1980s; from there his duties expanded to include discovery and deposition summaries, followed by motion drafting and trial preparation.
After proudly serving in the United States Army, first as an infantryman and later as a military intelligence officer, Chris used the GI Bill to attend Golden Gate University School of Law, earning a Doctorate of Jurisprudence with Highest Honors in 2009. He has been a member of the State Bar of California since February 2010 and joined Laughlin Legal, PC in 2022.
Chris is skilled at applying the more quantifiable aspects of law, evaluating the cost benefit before advising his clients. His clients are delighted he’s that kind of real estate lawyer and civil litigator. He’s passionate about economic efficiency. Chris holds a California real estate broker license, DRE#01892287, and is a member of the San Francisco Association of Realtors®. He is also an Amateur Extra radio operator, and a FAA certified Gold Seal Flight Instructor; in his free time he enjoys teaching students to fly airplanes and gliders.
