Caitlin L. Ashton

Caitlin Ashton has dedicated her career to practicing family law. With over 10 years of experience as a litigator and trial lawyer, she represents clients in a wide variety of sensitive family law cases, including divorce, same-sex divorce, high-conflict child custody and paternity matters, child support, spousal support, complex and high-asset financial issues, including business valuation and property division, pre-marital and post-marital agreements, post-judgment modification and enforcement actions, and domestic violence restraining orders.

Caitlin is a highly skilled negotiator and has extensive experience in alternative divorce dispute resolution and mediation. She believes that resolving matters outside of court allows clients to retain more control over the divorce process and reach a resolution that is specifically tailored to their situation and their lives.

She has been actively involved in the legal community since she began practicing law and has focused on women, underrepresented communities, and the law.

In her free time, Caitlin enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her wife and dog.
