Andrey Volkov is an Associate Attorney with Laughlin Legal. His practice is grounded in helping clients navigate major life transitions with clarity, stability, and dignity. Andrey brings a diverse legal background that strengthens his work in family law: before beginning his legal career, he supported attorneys as paralegal in family, civil, probate, and immigration law.

A graduate of Santa Clara University School of Law (J.D., 2025), Andrey competed in moot court competitions, earning the Best Brief Award in the Galloway Moot Court Competition. He contributed to the Santa Clara Business Law Chronicle, first as an Assistant Section Editor and later as Head of Training and Development. He also gained practical experience through BEACH and the Entrepreneur’s Law Clinic, assisting emerging Silicon Valley companies with entity formation, employment policies, compliance, and contract negotiation.

Originally from Moscow, Andrey earned his first law degree from Moscow Polytechnic University in 2014 before immigrating to the United States to continue his legal career.

Andrey lives in San Jose with his wife and son. Outside the office, he enjoys exploring Bay Area hiking trails, skiing in the Sierras, and visiting new museum exhibits in San Francisco.
