Elizabeth Du Par

Elizabeth Du Par has practiced family law exclusively since 1992. For more than three decades, she has represented technology executives, entrepreneurs, CEOs, business owners, and high-net-worth clients in a wide range of family law matters throughout Northern California.

Before attending law school, Elizabeth earned a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. That background has given her a deeper understanding of the family dynamics that often accompany divorce and other family law matters. She recognizes that family law involves deeply personal issues and helps clients navigate both the legal process and the personal challenges that accompany family transitions with clarity, compassion, and practical guidance.

Elizabeth was featured in the 2000 Forbes article “Sleeping With the Enemy,” which examined prenuptial agreements in Silicon Valley. She also studied international law at the University of Strasbourg in France and is fluent in French.

Elizabeth relocated her practice to Marin County in 1998. Her experience includes matters involving child custody and visitation, allegations of child abuse, pet custody, spousal support, breaches of fiduciary duty, real estate issues, and complex financial disputes involving high-net-worth clients. She is committed to providing thoughtful legal counsel tailored to the unique circumstances of each client and family.

The Santa Clara County Bar Association has recognized Elizabeth for her pro bono work with the Children and Family Law Center. She is also an active member of the Marin County community.
